Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Function

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for the accurate invoicing of accounts receivable from the existing client base and all other aspects of recording revenue. This position will supervise the Accounts receivable clerks and Receptionist.

Supervision

Reports to the Accounting Supervisor.

Duties and Tasks

  • Supervision of the following work:

    • Helicopter and fixed wing charter finalizing
    • Helicopter pilot commissions
    • Court services billings
    • Charter, PAX, Freight, Misc Invoice ADS inputs
    • Processing, balancing, printing, and mailing customer invoices
    • Cash receipt reporting
  • Sundry, recurring invoicing
  • First Nation and Inuit Health billing
  • Check and post Charter, PAX, Freight, Misc Invoice ADS, All ADS
  • Reconciling Skyline to Acc Pac
  • Work with Collections Specialist to assist in timely collections
  • Invoice adjustments as necessary
  • Review and suggest improvements for policy/procedures and processes related to invoicing
  • Work with staff to provide good customer service
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities

    • Demonstrated knowledge of current operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing applications
    • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting theories, principles and practices
    • Ability to maintain accurate records and compile reports

    Education and experience

    • Related post secondary education required

    Flight Crew

    Transwest Air's Operations Department is headquartered in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, but we have pilots based in Uranium City, Fond du Lac, Stony Rapids, Wollaston Lake, La Ronge, Prince Albert and Saskatoon. The Director of Flight Operations and the Chief Pilot are based in Saskatoon.

    Transwest Air's fleet consists of a wide variety of aircraft, from Cessna 185's to Jetstreams and Saab 340's. Our Helicopter fleet consists of three Bell 206 JetRangers and one Bell 206 Longranger. Due to the nature of our operations, we hire some pilots on a contract basis for the spring and summer seasons.

    We ask that flight crew typically have, as a minimum, a Commercial Pilot's license with Multi/IFR ratings. Other desirable ratings or experience are:

    • seaplane endorsement
    • taildragger time
    • bush flying experience
    • fire fighting experience

    Remuneration depends on the amount of flying done, as well as experience, time on type, and time with the company.

    Maintenance

    Transwest Air has over 50 people in maintenance, located in Stony Rapids, La Ronge, Prince Albert and Saskatoon. Our mixed fleet of airplanes and helicopters provides many opportunities for both apprentice and journeyman AME's.

    Due to the nature of our operations, candidates must expect to work at remote locations on occasion.

    Recent graduates of approved maintenance schools are invited to apply for entry level positions. Experienced candidates should have experience with aircraft in our fleet.
